Why did it seem (to my untrained eye) so very unstable once it took off?

Otherwise, this looks like a worthy successor to the Aerocar. Much easier to get into "plane mode"!

Probably just weather conditions. It looked bumpy, not unstable.

I'll take your word for it.

How lax are aviation regulations in Slovakia? Because from what I understood even back when it was introduced the Aerocar required you to have a Driver's License, Pilot's License, Car Registration, Plane Registration, Radio Operator's License, and a Medical Certificate to be a pilot. Don't even want to think about insurance costs.

All that said, I want one very badly.

I don't know what the regulations are. It looks rather light, it might qualify as Light Sport, meaning it would be easy to get certified to fly but limited in what it can do.
